On a plateau 1,414 metres above sea level lies Maranza, a tourist resort in South Tyrol, known in German as Meransen. Every year many guests spend their holidays in this location which, thanks to its southern exposure, is also known as the “sun terrace” of the Isarco Valley tourist area.
